What you will do

• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and design documentation.
• Lead brainstorming sessions with internal engineering and product teams to develop complex solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for assigned opportunities, including on-site customer meetings.
• Support the sales process through proposal development, technical presentations, and RFP responses.
• Validate technical feasibility and ensure solutions align with company capabilities and funding guidelines.
• Maintain accurate client records for pricing, scopes of work, and technical requirements.

Requirements

• Must live within regular commuting distance of Anchorage, AK
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a relevant technical discipline.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in sales, design, or implementation within the technology or engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of transport mediums and IP network design.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to articulate complex technical information clearly.
• Reliable transportation for in-person work at client sites and hirify.global facilities.

Nice to have

• Current Associate or Professional-level certification in Cisco or Juniper (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP).
• Experience with IP Telephony, videoconferencing, and route/switch technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and enterprise vertical markets.
• Proficiency in network documentation and Visio.
