Product Design Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead and manage a small team of product designers across multiple teams, prioritising initiatives and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design work.
• Mentor designers through critiques, coaching, feedback, and skill development while fostering learning and innovation.
• Manage design roadmaps, project timelines, workflows, and operational processes to improve team efficiency.
• Contribute hands-on to key design projects and translate strategic goals into user-friendly product experiences with product managers, engineers, executives, and other stakeholders.
• Use qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, behavioural insights, analytics, and experimentation to improve design decisions and measure impact.
• Drive consistency, scalability, accessibility, and inclusive design through design systems and atomic design principles.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating leadership of design teams and end-to-end product design solutions across platforms, supported by user research and measurable impact.
• Experience leading, developing, mentoring, and managing the performance growth of design teams.
• Expertise in UX/UI, interaction design, and user research methodologies, with experience delivering digital products.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence cross-functional teams and advocate for design.
• Strategic mindset with experience translating product goals into scalable, flexible, and user-centred solutions.
• Experience in fintech or SaaS, including understanding of financial products, compliance, security, and designing for trust.
