Design Engineer - Flow Development (EDA)

Annual base salary: USD 121,900–195,000

What you will do

• Design, implement, and deploy solutions using Python, Perl, TCL, and Unix shell.
• Develop and enhance EDA flows for Primetime, Tempus, Innovus, and RedHawk.
• Build automation for statistical data analysis, data science, and statistics.
• Support existing flows and functions while developing new features and enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineering experts and internal and external partners in a fast-paced, project-oriented agile environment.
• Prioritize work, manage multiple responsibilities, and deliver practical, high-quality solutions on schedule.

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 8+ years of industry experience, or MS/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 6+ years of industry experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with industry-standard SSTA tools, including Primetime and Tempus.
• Strong hands-on experience with place-and-route tools, including Innovus.
• Strong hands-on experience with IR analysis tools, including RedHawk.
• Strong hands-on experience developing scripts in TCL, Python, Perl, and Unix shell, as well as flow automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with statistical data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with revision control, issue management and defect tracking, continuous integration, and continuous delivery or deployment tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, multitasking, context-switching, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to ramp up quickly, work with minimum supervision, handle ambiguity, remain calm under pressure, and drive problem solving to resolution autonomously.
• Optimistic yet pragmatic attitude and ability to work as a team player.
