Design Engineer - Flow Development (EDA)

Location: San Jose, California, USA

Annual base salary: USD 121,900–195,000, plus discretionary bonus and equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and deploy flow development solutions using Python, Perl, TCL, and Unix shell.
• Develop and enhance EDA flows for Primetime, Tempus, Innovus, and RedHawk.
• Build automation for statistical data analysis, data science, and statistical modeling.
• Support existing flows and functions while delivering new features and enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineering experts and internal and external partners in a fast-paced, project-oriented agile environment.

Requirements

• BS in EE/CS with 8+ years of industry experience, or MS/PhD in EE/CS with 6+ years of industry experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SSTA tools such as Primetime and Tempus, Place & Route tools such as Innovus, and IR analysis tools such as RedHawk.
• Strong scripting and flow automation experience with TCL, Python, Perl, and Unix shell.
• Experience with statistical data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with revision control, issue management, defect tracking, continuous integration, and continuous delivery or deployment tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously under pressure.
