Principal Product Engineer – Virtuoso Backend Flows (Virtuoso)

Annual salary: $136,500–$253,500, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive the development and customer adoption of advanced backend design flows in hirify.global Virtuoso.
• Develop physical design methodologies for leading-edge process nodes.
• Work directly with customers to understand technical challenges and deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate with R&D teams.
• Create documentation and provide technical training.

Requirements

• Strong experience in custom IC backend design, layout, and signoff flows.
• Deep familiarity with Virtuoso layout environments and advanced-node methodologies.
• Experience with automation and scripting using SKILL, Python, Perl, or UNIX Shell.
• Ability to engage directly with customers and communicate technical solutions clearly.
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 9+ years of relevant experience, or an MS degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
