Electrical Engineer (AI Wearables)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 base salary per year, plus performance bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Design electronic systems, schematics, and system architectures for AI wearable prototypes.
• Build and debug prototype hardware, including board bring-up, sensor integration, and system validation.
• Collaborate with mechanical and firmware engineers to deliver functional prototype devices.
• Evaluate the electronic feasibility of product concepts and support rapid hardware iteration.
• Prepare validated electronic designs and documentation for handoff to the Shenzhen engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in consumer electronics, IoT, or wearable device development.
• Strong experience with schematic design, board bring-up, and system debugging for embedded hardware.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, or KiCad.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and laboratory debugging tools.
• Experience with low-power electronics, sensors, batteries, and Bluetooth/Wi-Fi technologies.
