What you will do

• Design electrical schematics, embedded circuits, power systems, and PCB layouts for autonomous robotic turret systems.
• Develop real-time embedded software in C++ and Python for autonomous defense applications.
• Run simulations for signal integrity, thermal management, electromagnetic compatibility, and circuit behavior.
• Integrate sensors, motors, actuators, electrical components, and mechanical systems for operation in harsh environments.
• Test, debug, and validate embedded systems in laboratory and field environments against military-grade requirements.
• Document designs, simulation results, test protocols, and performance improvements, including power-consumption optimization.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in electrical and firmware design, including schematics, simulation, PCB layout, and software development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience designing microcontroller-based control systems, power conversion, and motor drives.
• Expertise with PCB and electrical design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle, plus simulation tools such as SPICE or ANSYS Electronics.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience focused on real-time, safety-critical systems.
• Strong C++ and Python skills, with experience developing real-time control software for robotics and autonomous systems.

Nice to have

• Thermal management and heat-dissipation experience for high-power systems.
• Embedded Linux, RTOS, and custom embedded-kernel development experience.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, UART, and I2C communication protocols.
• Experience optimizing low-latency embedded software under strict power and computational constraints.
