Software Developer Internship – Embedded Linux

What you will do

• Develop a plug-and-play communication system connecting propulsion software with existing networked data infrastructure.
• Interface with propulsion systems using CAN and serial communication.
• Integrate the communication device with existing testing infrastructure and tooling.
• Collaborate with software, electrical, propulsion, AIT, testing, and project management teams.
• Verify and validate the user experience of the system with the testing team.
• Gain hands-on experience operating propulsion systems.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Embedded Systems, Software, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience with embedded Linux and software development in C and Python.
• Familiarity with digital communication buses such as CAN, Ethernet, RS422, and RS485.
• Experience with network communication, including APIs and web sockets.
• Interest in propulsion systems, hardware operations, and testing environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English; minimum internship duration is 5 months.

Nice to have

• Experience working with GitLab.
• Experience with networked data infrastructure.
