Business Systems Architect, GTM Systems (Salesforce)

Location: New York City, hybrid; four days per week in-office. No required office days during the summer and winter holidays.

Salary: $155,000–$175,000 annually, plus potential variable compensation through a company incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Define and maintain the target architecture for the GTM systems ecosystem, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, enrichment, engagement, telephony, billing, and analytics tools.
• Design and build scalable cross-system solutions from problem framing through deployment, UAT, cutover, and adoption.
• Audit integration reliability, data integrity, technical debt, security posture, permissions, auditability, and platform limits, and drive remediation.
• Set standards for integration patterns, data design, deployment, release governance, documentation, and architecture decision records.
• Review solution designs, mentor engineers, and provide technical direction without formal management authority.
• Partner with Sales, hirify.global Advisor Solutions, hirify.global at Work, Data, and Product/Engineering teams on workflows, integrations, data contracts, and high-risk initiatives.

Requirements

• Staff-level or lead individual contributor experience setting technical direction, reviewing designs, and raising engineering quality.
• Deep Salesforce expertise, including declarative, programmatic, and integration approaches, with sound architectural judgment.
• Experience owning architecture for a multi-tool GTM stack in a B2B or SaaS environment.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, middleware, event-driven flows, data contracts, data governance, permissions, auditability, and release risk.
• Experience leading ambiguous, high-stakes initiatives, vendor evaluations, platform migrations, technical diligence, security design, and implementation planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation, design documents, and stakeholder communication.

Nice to have

• Salesforce architect-track certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Integration Architecture Designer.
• Experience with HubSpot, Clay or similar GTM enrichment and orchestration tools, and AI-driven GTM workflows.
• Experience with Salesforce deployment and DevOps tools such as Copado.
• Familiarity with RevOps tools including call intelligence, sales engagement, customer success, billing, and BI platforms.
