Solution Architect (AI)

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States. Willingness to travel 10–15% for customer engagements, including SCIFs.

Base salary: $150,000–$275,000 USD annually, plus potential government clearance differential and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Advise federal customers on the architecture, integration, implementation, testing, deployment, and operation of hirify.global solutions across private cloud, on-premise, and government cloud environments.
• Design secure, enterprise-level cloud solutions using AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Develop differentiated technical solutions, delivery roadmaps, proposals, and whitepapers throughout the sales cycle.
• Guide customers on agile delivery, program governance, DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, and delivery practices.
• Design AI and generative AI integrations, including LLMs, intelligent automation, and machine learning, aligned with mission objectives and responsible AI principles.
• Define enterprise data architectures and operationalize data and AI governance frameworks for federal programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years advising customers on government cloud platforms and at least 10 years of multi-tier application design and architecture.
• Experience designing secure cloud hosting solutions and leading enterprise cloud environments for federal customers.
• Experience authoring federal proposals and whitepapers and managing federal programs using agile frameworks, including Scrum and SAFe.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a US government public trust and/or DoD clearance is required; TS/SCI with CI Poly is strongly preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master or another agile certification is required; AWS, Google, Azure, and PMP certifications are preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with the federal Risk Management Framework.
• Experience designing DevSecOps pipelines and infrastructure automation with tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack, Cucumber, JMeter, and FitNesse.
• AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure certification.
• PMP certification.
