Sales Engineer, Federal (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Brooklyn, NY, USA, or Washington, D.C., USA; candidates must be within commuting distance of the Williamsburg, Brooklyn office or downtown D.C. office.

Salary: $125,000–$160,000 USD annual base salary, plus potential equity and role-dependent bonus or variable compensation.

What you will do

• Support sales to public-sector customers in the customs and international trade space.
• Present hirify.global’s technology and translate technical capabilities into practical value for technical and executive audiences.
• Use the hirify.global platform to produce and brief original analysis that supports the sales cycle.
• Identify new customer use cases and connect business problems with hirify.global solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, data scientists, and customer-facing stakeholders.
• Contribute to product development, recruiting, knowledge building, and public-sector business growth.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in the public-sector space.
• Knowledge of international trade processes, defense, national security, or economic security, including open and commercial data solutions.
• Experience working with and delivering software tools and frameworks.
• Working proficiency in Python and/or SQL for independently exploring datasets and building analyses.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical and executive audiences, including demos and whiteboard discussions.
• Ability to work from within commuting distance of the Brooklyn or Washington, D.C. offices.

• Experience using modern AI tools.
