Manager, Plant Finance (Manufacturing)

Location: Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia; onsite plant role

What you will do

• Provide strategic financial decision support to plant leadership and connect operational performance with financial outcomes.
• Lead monthly and annual forecasting and budgeting in alignment with operational, divisional, and corporate objectives.
• Establish standard costing rates and maintain material costs, bills of materials, and production routings with operations.
• Identify, execute, and report on productivity initiatives and site performance improvements.
• Support ROI calculations for capital projects, explain variances, and deliver timely plant results.
• Complete month-end close activities, including inventory valuation, reserves, GAAP-compliant financial statements, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in accounting or finance.
• 5–10 years of cost controlling experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and US GAAP accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with financial planning and reporting systems; SAP experience is preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
