Senior Talent Partner, AI & Engineering

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; 100% in-office Monday through Friday

Annual base salary: $120,000–$160,000 USD, with potential discretionary bonus and options.

What you will do

• Partner with executives and senior engineering leaders on talent strategy, organizational planning, hiring priorities, and succession planning.
• Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering, AI, machine learning, infrastructure, product, and leadership positions.
• Develop sourcing strategies and build relationships with executive-level and highly competitive technical candidates.
• Support leaders across onboarding, performance management, employee development, retention, and organizational planning.
• Coach managers through sensitive employee situations and identify organizational risks.
• Use recruiting metrics, talent intelligence, sourcing automation, and AI-powered workflows to improve hiring quality and velocity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of combined experience in technical recruiting, talent acquisition, HR business partnering, or a hybrid talent role.
• Experience supporting engineering organizations in high-growth Silicon Valley technology companies or AI-first organizations.
• Experience hiring software engineers, AI/ML engineers, infrastructure engineers, technical leaders, or other highly competitive technical talent.
• Strong executive influence, communication, stakeholder management, judgment, and business partnership skills.
• Understanding of organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee lifecycle management.
• Willingness to work onsite five days per week in Mountain View.

Nice to have

• Experience in frontier AI, LLM, agentic AI, or generative AI.
• Experience partnering with founders, C-level executives, or senior engineering leadership.
• Familiarity with AI-powered recruiting tools, sourcing automation, and talent analytics.
• Experience supporting globally distributed engineering teams.
• Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
