Technical Recruiter, Plant Operations and Manufacturing (Nuclear Energy)

Location: Based in Los Angeles and onsite full-time; hybrid and remote work are not considered. The role also supports workforce development and community recruiting activities in Paducah, Kentucky.

Base salary: $100,000–$170,000 annually, plus potential stock options and benefits for full-time hires.

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical, skilled trades, operations, manufacturing, construction, and facility buildout roles.
• Partner with hiring managers and operations leaders on market insights, candidate calibration, interview processes, and hiring decisions.
• Build and manage high-volume recruiting pipelines, track metrics, identify bottlenecks, and improve conversion.
• Develop partnerships with trade schools, technical colleges, universities, workforce boards, training programs, and community organizations.
• Plan and attend community events, school visits, technical talks, networking events, and other outreach activities.
• Design sourcing strategies using referrals, cold outreach, local networking, partnerships, events, and targeted campaigns while maintaining a strong candidate experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of recruiting experience, associate degree and 4+ years of experience, or 5+ years of professional recruiting experience in lieu of a degree.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with candidates, hiring teams, educational partners, and community organizations.
• Ability to manage competing priorities autonomously with accountability, sound judgment, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to attend local events, build community relationships, and represent hirify.global in the Paducah region.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Full-time onsite work is required; hybrid and remote work are not considered.

Nice to have

• Experience hiring for skilled trades, manufacturing, construction, or specialized roles such as electricians and welders.
• Experience in high-volume recruiting environments with disciplined pipeline tracking and rapid execution.
• Expertise in cold calling, networking events, external partnerships, and targeted sourcing campaigns.
