Senior Product Manager, Cards (Fintech)

Location: NYC Head Office; on-site

Salary: $170K–$230K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of virtual and physical card and expense management products.
• Improve daily spending experiences, including card controls and reconciliation.
• Define metrics for activation, spend volume, and retention.
• Partner with engineering and design to scope, prioritize, and launch product releases.
• Coordinate with risk, compliance, issuers, processors, and card networks on operational and regulatory requirements.
• Work with the CTO on the technical and strategic evolution of the cards platform, including AI-driven spend management and automation.

Requirements

• Strong customer empathy, design thinking, and focus on simple user experiences.
• Data fluency and ability to make clear, data-driven product decisions.
• Experience evaluating complex trade-offs and prioritizing for impact.
• Ability to lead small, cross-functional teams and align engineering, design, risk, and operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for AI and hands-on curiosity with tools, prototypes, or research.

Nice to have

• Experience with commercial or spend management card products.
• Understanding of KYC/KYB, risk, or fraud infrastructure.
• Experience in high-growth fintech or payments environments.
