Product Manager (International Payments)

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA; relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF may be available.

Salary: $230,000–$325,000 target base salary per year for San Francisco or New York, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for international payments products.
• Lead engineers and designers in building cross-border payment and foreign-exchange capabilities across multiple currencies, geographies, and payment rails.
• Evaluate and manage banking, FX, and local payment partners to expand market coverage and improve unit economics.
• Design scalable KYC/KYB, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and regulatory infrastructure with Legal, Compliance, and Risk.
• Launch payment capabilities in new markets while navigating local regulations, licensing requirements, and operational constraints.
• Use customer insights, data, rapid prototyping, and AI tools to deliver intuitive financial products.

Requirements

• BA/BS in a technical or analytical field.
• At least 3 years of product management experience.
• Strong customer empathy, design thinking, data fluency, and product prioritization skills.
• Ability to lead and influence engineers and designers and collaborate across large cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on AI building or prototyping experience, familiarity with tools such as Cursor, Bolt, and Claude Code, and comfort with Figma and Git.

• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.
• Experience building payments products or products in regulated markets.
• Experience building products with significant AI or LLM components.
