Product Quality Engineer (Additive Manufacturing)

Annual base salary: $75,000–$94,000

Company

Develops and operates industrially scalable laser metal additive manufacturing, precision machining, and digital production infrastructure for aerospace, defense, medical, and other critical industries.

What you will do

• Support manufacturing lines through root cause investigations and corrective actions for routine process issues.
• Execute metrology inspection methods and assist with validation of mechanical and metallurgical testing protocols.
• Monitor performance metrics and SPC data to identify trends and support continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including DHRs, DMRs, and change orders.
• Participate in Material Review Board meetings to evaluate and disposition non-conformances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment.
• Basic understanding of Root Cause Analysis and Statistical Process Control.
• Hands-on ability to support quality controls and project milestones for advanced metal additive manufacturing.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or AS9100.
• Experience in additive manufacturing or regulated industries such as medical devices or consumer electronics.
