Product Expert, PLM and ERP

Location: Fully remote within the United States or based in the Brooklyn, NY or Washington, DC hub locations.

Salary: $200,000–$255,000 USD annual base salary, with competitive equity grants and a discretionary bonus or variable compensation plan depending on the role.

What you will do

• Own the product vision for Product Passports connecting PLM, ERP, and trade compliance systems.
• Define how as-designed, as-sourced, and as-built bills of materials are reconciled and maintained over time.
• Design workflows that propagate product changes across commercial documents, classifications, and regulatory filings.
• Identify and prioritize automation opportunities across SKU definitions, invoices, advance ship notices, and customs entries.
• Translate PLM and ERP implementation expertise into product requirements, data models, API designs, and integration schemas.
• Partner with enterprise product, procurement, manufacturing, trade compliance, government-facing, and engineering stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on PLM and/or ERP experience in an enterprise manufacturing, sourcing, or trade compliance context.
• Deep knowledge of multi-level, configurable, and as-built bill-of-materials structures.
• Understanding of product data flows across purchase orders, commercial invoices, packing lists, advance ship notices, and customs entries.
• Experience with PLM-ERP integration, including item master synchronization, BOM transfer, and ECO/ECN workflows.
• Comfort discussing data structures, API design, integration architecture, and enterprise system implementation with engineering teams.
• Ability to use AI tools for prototyping, analysis, explanation, and workflow testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Teamcenter, Windchill, Arena, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience with data modeling, integration architecture, or enterprise system implementation.
• Prior product management, business analysis, or enterprise technology strategy experience.
