Product Manager (AI Platform)

Location: Hybrid, with at least 3 days per week in the San Francisco or Toronto office

Compensation: San Francisco $177,650–$209,000 plus equity; Toronto CA$157,250–CA$185,000 plus equity

What you will do

• Own the roadmap for AI Platform capabilities, including RAG services, text and image extraction, analysis services, model evaluation and deployment tools.
• Partner with ML and backend engineers to build scalable, reliable and cost-effective platform systems.
• Define and monitor entity-quality, pipeline-performance, operational and cost metrics.
• Work with product managers and downstream teams to identify data-quality and coverage gaps and prioritize reusable platform capabilities.
• Make strategic decisions on model performance, vendor selection, annotation strategy and infrastructure scaling.
• Guide integration with continuous inference systems as ML approaches evolve.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, including experience at a high-growth Series B–E startup.
• Experience building LLM/LMM-powered products or data infrastructure and understanding AI extraction and structured-data systems end to end.
• Technical fluency in discussions involving ML models, backend systems, data pipelines and system design.
• Experience working in backend-heavy environments with internal teams and downstream product surfaces as users.
• Analytical approach to precision, recall, entity accuracy, coverage, latency and throughput metrics.
• Ability to work hybrid from the San Francisco or Toronto office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG, agentic systems or LLM/LMM optimization.
• Experience building internal platforms or tools for product teams.
• B2B SaaS experience, especially with AI or data products.
