Senior Recruiter (AI & Engineering)

Location: 100% onsite in Mountain View, California, United States, Monday through Friday

Annual base salary: $120,000–$160,000 USD, with potential discretionary bonus and options.

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, Infrastructure, backend, platform, and other specialized technical roles.
• Partner with engineering leaders and hiring managers to scope roles, define success profiles, plan hiring, and calibrate interview loops.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines across AI/ML, backend, infrastructure, and platform engineering.
• Advise stakeholders using compensation benchmarks, competitor hiring trends, and technical talent market intelligence.
• Manage candidate experience and closing strategy for senior, staff, principal, and executive-level technical candidates.
• Use recruiting metrics, AI-powered tools, sourcing automation, and process improvements to improve funnel quality, time-to-fill, and offer acceptance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience with full-cycle recruiting for software engineers, AI/ML engineers, infrastructure engineers, or similarly competitive technical talent.
• Experience recruiting for high-growth Silicon Valley technology companies or AI-first organizations.
• Ability to independently manage multiple senior and complex searches while maintaining strong prioritization and organization.
• Strong proactive sourcing, stakeholder management, resilience, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Willingness to work onsite five days per week in Mountain View.
• English proficiency is required; professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience recruiting for frontier AI, LLM, agentic AI, or generative AI teams.
• Experience closing senior IC, staff, or principal-level technical candidates in competitive multi-offer situations.
• Familiarity with Greenhouse, Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar recruiting and sourcing tools.
• Experience supporting globally distributed engineering teams.
• Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
