Technical Recruiter (AI/Hardware)

Salary: $120,000–$250,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across hardware, firmware, AI/ML, and operations.
• Build diverse candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and passive-candidate engagement.
• Partner with engineering leads to define hiring requirements and recruiting strategies.
• Analyze recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire to optimize the process.
• Improve structured technical interviews, deliver a positive candidate experience, and support new-hire onboarding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles in fast-growing startups.
• Recruiting experience focused on hardware engineering, AI/ML, and embedded systems.
• Proven ability to source passive candidates and build pipelines for hard-to-fill engineering roles.
• Proficiency with recruiting platforms and ATS systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Strong interpersonal and advisory skills, including the ability to build trusted relationships and challenge hiring managers when needed.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of the hardware and AI talent landscape, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and ML research recruiting.
• Experience as the first or an early recruiting hire at a startup, building processes and infrastructure from scratch.
