IT Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite at the headquarters in El Segundo, California, United States

Base salary: $130,000–$160,000 USD per year, plus eligibility for the equity incentive plan.

What you will do

• Own corporate IT end-to-end as the sole internal IT resource, including helpdesk intake, triage, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, account access, hardware provisioning, endpoint policies, and the full laptop and workstation lifecycle.
• Administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, including user lifecycle management, configuration standards, access controls, and license governance.
• Operate the corporate network, firewalls, switching, wireless, VPN, DNS/DHCP, segmentation, internet connectivity, and failover infrastructure.
• Manage IT vendors and MSPs, including selection, SLAs, performance reviews, renewals, escalations, and specialized work.
• Partner with Engineering on cloud IAM, security and compliance initiatives, SOC 2 evidence collection, endpoint security, office technology, and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience with progression into corporate IT ownership for a growing organization.
• Strong hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, wireless, VPNs, VLANs, segmentation, DNS/DHCP, ISP relationships, and network uptime.
• Experience administering Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, managing endpoints through MDM, and overseeing hardware lifecycles.
• Technical foundation across endpoint management, IAM/SSO, networking, cloud platforms, and SaaS licensing and vendor contracts.
• Experience leading IT contributions to SOC 2 or similar compliance efforts, plus familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and on-prem virtualization platforms.
• Strong MacOS and Linux experience, with the ability to oversee Windows environments, prioritize independently, communicate clearly, and manage vendors.

Nice to have

• Startup or early-stage SaaS experience.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or similar government security frameworks.
• Experience supporting a GSOC or SOC environment.
• Experience managing office build-outs, moves, or low-voltage and cabling projects through vendors.
