Senior Software Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Boston or NYC; hybrid workplace

Salary: $135,000–$200,000 per year, adjusted based on location or experience.

What you will do

• Design systems that detect common user paths across millions of events.
• Implement real-time search across billions of log entries.
• Build machine learning pipelines to detect bugs in customer applications.
• Automate database scaling while maintaining responsiveness during traffic spikes.
• Develop recommendation systems for customer integrations based on their toolsets.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in full-stack or backend development, preferably in a SaaS company.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, architectural principles, tools, and trade-offs.
• Experience with demanding scalability or availability requirements.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript applications and frameworks.
• At least one previous full-time software engineering role.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Boston or NYC.
