What you will do

• Act as the technical owner for critical architecture components within the business.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of systems from design to production at full scale.
• Optimize system performance and invent new efficiency-driven approaches for high-load environments.
• Collaborate with the staff engineering community to improve company-wide software and systems engineering standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• 4+ years of experience in technical leadership as a manager or technical lead.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering industry-leading systems with significant scope of impact.
• Must be based in New York, USA (Hybrid).
• Demonstrated ability to use AI coding tools to validate, critique, and refine software output.
• BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
