Financial Systems Technical Lead (Zuora)

Location: Bengaluru; hybrid with office attendance at least 3 days per week for candidates within reasonable commuting distance

What you will do

• Architect, develop, and support core financial systems for Accounting and Finance teams, primarily across the Order-to-Revenue ecosystem.
• Lead financial system enhancements and automation projects through the full SDLC using Zuora, Avalara, NetSuite, Salesforce, Workato, Sigma, Snowflake, and JIRA.
• Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable integrations, including technical specifications, APIs, iPaaS solutions, and ongoing system health monitoring.
• Write complex SQL, ZOQL, SOQL, and Data Query queries for reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
• Support data migrations for acquisitions, international expansion, and new implementations; coordinate UAT and deliver end-user training.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting, govern Zuora configuration and integration standards, and support ITGC documentation and sign-offs.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience with Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue as both a technical Administrator and Solutions Architect.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience partnering with Accounting and Finance teams and understanding revenue recognition principles, including ASC 606.
• Strong expertise in Zuora, NetSuite, iPaaS platforms, Salesforce, Confluence, and JIRA, including Zuora architecture, workflows, deployment tools, and the Billing Object Model.
• Experience writing advanced SQL, SOQL, ZOQL, or comparable query languages and designing robust integrations using APIs and iPaaS solutions.
• Experience producing enterprise technical documentation, solution designs, data-flow diagrams, API specifications, and ITGC change-management documentation.
