SAP BW HANA Developer (SAP BW)

What you will do

• Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP BW, BW on HANA, and BW/4HANA environments.
• Monitor and resolve issues involving process chains, data loads, DTPs, InfoPackages, data extraction, authorizations, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end BW data flows, routines, BEx queries, and reporting enhancements.
• Perform performance tuning, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and transport coordination across development, QA, and production.
• Assess BW landscapes, document objects and dependencies, analyze data lineage, and identify obsolete or redundant objects.
• Prepare technical documentation and support architecture reviews, governance, modernization, and migration readiness initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience with SAP BW 7.x, BW on HANA, or BW/4HANA, including data modeling, ADSOs, CompositeProviders, MultiProviders, InfoObjects, process chains, DTPs, transformations, Open Hub, and BEx Query Designer.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP debugging, Start/End/Expert Routines, SQL, and Eclipse BW Modeling Tools.
• Experience in SAP BW production support and enhancement activities.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to understand complex BW landscapes and business processes.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and collaborate with Basis, ABAP, Functional, and Infrastructure teams.

Nice to have

• HANA Modeling experience.
• SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, or SAP Business Data Cloud experience.
• Experience with Databricks, Azure or AWS data platforms, Power BI, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Experience with BW inventory assessment, system documentation, modernization, migration, or BW exit initiatives.
