Project Manager, Commercial Projects (Nuclear Energy)

Location: Torrance, with substantial presence in Utah and work across Hawthorne and Utah as required by the project. U.S. person status and legal authorization to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident are required. Comfort with relocation to, or substantial presence in, Utah is required.

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead project development execution from early site development through major investment decisions, delivery readiness, and construction handoff.
• Develop and maintain integrated schedules, master milestone lists, gate decision logs, critical-path reviews, look-ahead plans, and schedule risk analyses.
• Coordinate Engineering, Licensing, Delivery, Finance, Supply Chain, Real Estate, Public Relations, Government Relations, contractors, and major vendors.
• Support long-lead equipment planning, vendor readiness, scope definition, commercial readiness, and handoff preparation.
• Maintain project cost, risk, change-control, document-control, and reporting practices, including weekly status reports and executive and board-level updates.
• Represent project development in Utah and support government, community, and regional stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience on major capital projects, including projects with a total installed cost of $1B or more.
• Ownership of CPM schedules for infrastructure, industrial, energy, or similar project delivery environments.
• Working experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling tools.
• Experience with stage-gate development, formal project controls, capital-project governance, contractors, and major vendors.
• Strong understanding of project cost, schedule, risk, change control, reporting, and incomplete-information decision-making.
• U.S. person status and authorization to work in the United States are required; relocation to or substantial presence in Utah is expected.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or an equivalent major capital project credential.
• Experience with LNG, refinery, petrochemical, data center, energy, infrastructure, industrial megaprojects, or first-of-a-kind projects.
• Operator-side experience at a major energy company or experience with hyperscaler and large data center construction programs.
• Familiarity with earned value management, cost-loaded schedules, WBS/CBS structures, and formal change control.
• Experience in regulated industries such as energy, nuclear, aerospace, defense, or heavy manufacturing.
