Senior HR Business Partner (Fintech)

What you will do

• Partner with Engineering leadership and managers on engagement, organisational structure, capability, and culture.
• Manage complex UK absence, disciplinary, grievance, and other employee relations cases independently.
• Coach managers through organisational change, difficult conversations, and leadership development.
• Own elements of the People Plan and contribute to talent, performance, pay and benefits, learning, career progression, and culture projects.
• Modernise HR processes using AI-powered tools, automation, and people analytics.
• Build talent management and succession frameworks, identify critical roles, assess succession risk, and develop retention strategies.

Requirements

• Exceptional knowledge of UK employment legislation and proven experience resolving complex employee relations cases.
• 4+ years of generalist HR experience at HRBP or Senior HRBP level.
• Experience partnering with technical or engineering divisions.
• Experience coaching and developing line managers through change.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, discretion, resilience, and business acumen.
• CIPD accreditation or equivalent demonstrable experience; able to work autonomously while aligning with the CPO.

Nice to have

• International HR experience in APAC, Singapore, Australia, AMER, the US, EMEA, or Portugal.
• HR Operations experience, including designing and implementing people-team procedures.
• Workday HRIS experience.
• Coaching qualification or willingness to undertake one.
