Sr Specialist, Finance Operations & Strategy (Automotive)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office. Regular in-person meetings and occasional domestic business travel to other Scout locations are required.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, task lists, status trackers, and dashboards for Finance initiatives.
• Monitor milestones, risks, dependencies, action items, and deliverables across cross-functional workstreams.
• Prepare project status reports, KPI summaries, financial executive summaries, presentations, and steering committee materials.
• Support the Finance PMO by improving templates, processes, standards, documentation, and change management practices.
• Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, track requests, and coordinate stakeholder follow-through.
• Conduct research and benchmarking to support project scoping, cost estimates, alternatives evaluation, and annual planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience supporting projects or operations in a corporate, cross-functional environment.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and long-term planning.
• Experience with structured project management practices and tools, including JIRA, Power BI, or similar reporting systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and collaboration tools.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, multitasking, and executive presentation skills, with professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
