Senior Financial Analyst, Engineering (EV)

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead monthly rolling forecasts for Engineering OpEx, CapEx, and headcount, including variance analysis against actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
• Partner with Engineering leadership and cross-functional leaders to assess operational performance and explain financial impacts.
• Support annual budgeting by validating financial data and consolidating budget submissions.
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and prepare insights for executive reviews.
• Track Engineering and Supply Chain cost-down initiatives and CapEx and OpEx timing.
• Collaborate with Accounting and FP&A during month-end close and improve financial processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field with an emphasis in Finance.
• 5+ years of relevant finance experience; Product Development experience is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and produce accurate financial analysis.
