Salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the accounting team through monthly and annual closing activities and reporting deadlines.
• Establish and maintain GAAP-compliant accounting policies, processes, and accounting memos.
• Improve accounting systems and the chart of accounts, perform account analysis, and resolve outstanding issues.
• Lead financial statement consolidation and preparation of financial statement footnotes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and accounting firms on audits, tax returns, reconciliations, and deferred tax accounting.
• Strengthen internal controls and lead self-audits across critical business processes.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of accounting manager or controller experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience with GAAP accounting and complex accounting issues.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and independent-working skills in a fast-paced environment.
• SAP experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Professional proficiency in Mandarin alongside English.
