Lead Material Engineer (Material Formulation)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; onsite role

What you will do

• Develop and optimize material formulations for new and existing products.
• Design CMF engineering processes for new hirify.global mice and keyboard products.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure CMF specifications are met and drive innovation in material formulation.
• Select and source raw materials, then conduct material testing and characterization.
• Translate design and marketing concepts into feasible engineering activities and connect CMF design with manufacturing.
• Conduct rapid prototyping to evaluate concepts, consumer experience, feasibility, and manufacturability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in material formulation development, preferably in the CMF industry.
• 2+ years of CMF engineering experience with 3C products.
• Experience developing resin, paint, or ink formulations.
• Strong understanding of materials science and good communication skills.
• Proficient written and spoken English, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
