hirify.global is building a circular battery ecosystem that integrates battery recovery, reuse, recycling, energy storage, and battery materials production.

What you will do

  • Design and scale Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop environments using platforms such as Typhoon HIL, Opal-RT, or similar tools.
  • Develop automated Python test suites and transition validation from manual execution to scalable automation.
  • Define and execute Verification and Validation plans for site controllers and embedded power electronics under normal and fault conditions.
  • Integrate automated HIL/SIL testing into CI/CD pipelines and provide feedback on production readiness.
  • Design custom HIL interface hardware and wiring between physical controllers and simulated power stages.
  • Collaborate with firmware and systems teams to investigate failures using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and telemetry logs.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 2+ years of experience in software validation or test automation for hardware-focused systems.
  • Professional experience with real-time simulation platforms such as Typhoon HIL, Opal-RT, or dSPACE, including modeling power electronics components.
  • Expert Python skills for test automation frameworks such as Pytest; familiarity with Rust and C/C++.
  • Experience with high-voltage laboratory environments, oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and CAN, SPI, and Ethernet protocols.
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and Docker for consistent test environments.
  • Ability to identify edge cases in complex state machines and control loops and perform systematic root-cause analysis.
