Production Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site at 1600 Bridge Pkwy, Redwood City, California, United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee the technician team, including daily support, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and team engagement.
• Monitor progress toward monthly production targets and optimize manufacturing workflow and output.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across assemblies, processes, and tools.
• Enforce quality standards, manufacturing procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in technician hiring, training, retraining, and development.
• Maintain a safe, organized production environment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Prior management experience and experience working with diverse teams.
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, respond to urgent issues, and meet production targets.
• Effective communication skills for aligning with technicians and resolving issues.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PCB and PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Experience with external vendors or supply chain management.
• Understanding of electromechanical system design and functionality.
• Experience with quality management software and document control systems.
