Hardware Technician (Robotics)

What you will do

• Build, integrate, and optimize electromechanical prototypes and subassemblies.
• Develop, manufacture, and modify cable harnesses, including routing and shielding.
• Create and maintain technical drawings, bills of materials, and assembly instructions.
• Collaborate with electronics, mechanical, and software engineers on design reviews.
• Perform mechanical modifications and process improvements for assembly workflows.

Requirements

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
• Proven experience in prototyping, cable harness manufacturing, or system integration.
• Strong practical skills in crimping, soldering, and cable assembly.
• Ability to work with schematics, technical drawings, and measurement equipment.
• English proficiency required; German language skills are a plus.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of C/C++ to facilitate collaboration with software teams.
