CAD/PLM Administrator (Robotics)

What you will do

• Administer, maintain, and optimize CAD, PLM, and PDM systems including CREO, SolidWorks, NX, and Windchill.
• Create and manage CAD templates, assembly structures, and standard part libraries.
• Support development engineers with CAD/PLM/PDM workflows and design processes.
• Manage CAD licenses, user rights, and permissions.
• Install, update, and patch CAD software and engineering toolchains.
• Train employees on CAD tools and contribute to IT-related engineering projects and migrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience administering CREO, SolidWorks, NX, and/or Windchill.
• Strong knowledge of PLM/PDM data structures, versioning, and release processes.
• Experience creating and managing CAD templates and assembly structures.
• Competence in managing CAD licenses, roles, and permissions.
• Must be able to work on-site in Metzingen / Riederich.

Nice to have

• CAD/PLM certifications from PTC, Siemens, or Dassault Systèmes.
• Experience in robotics, mechanical design, or hardware product development.
• Scripting or automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or VBScript.
• Experience integrating CAD tools into automated workflows like CI/CD.
