Robotic Operations Support Specialist, Weekend Shift (Robotics)

Location: Columbus, Ohio; 10–20% travel to customer sites

What you will do

• Operate autonomous welding cells and support customers using the equipment.
• Monitor cell performance and part fit-up, record engineering data, and coordinate with engineering resources to resolve issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, cleaning, and repairs on robotic, welding, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Read engineering drawings, assembly diagrams, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
• Integrate autonomous welding cells into customer manufacturing processes and learn Forge operation through command prompts and code changes.
• Work Friday through Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM; a shift differential applies.

Requirements

• Technical training, trade school certification, an associate degree in engineering technology, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related industry experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, assembling, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, preferably manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, or machine shop work; welding certification is not required.
• Linux experience and willingness to learn programming languages.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, operate shop equipment, climb ladders, and work in awkward positions.
• Detail orientation, a customer-support mindset, adaptability, and collaborative working skills.
