Deployment Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Remote, United States; requires close proximity to a major airport, frequent onsite travel, and US work authorization.

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 annual base salary plus equity.

What you will do

• Support robot deployments and deliver a strong customer experience.
• Lead onsite hardware and software testing to validate cobot performance.
• Troubleshoot, document, and resolve system issues, including parts replacements and robot retrofits.
• Prepare customer sites through readiness assessments, checklists, and testing.
• Create operational and technical documentation, workflows, and training materials.
• Partner with the Program Manager to maintain communication and project progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• Proficiency in Linux, Python, and Git or equivalent version control tools.
• Hands-on electrical and mechanical debugging experience.
• Experience deploying and integrating systems in logistics, healthcare, or manufacturing.
• Strong customer relationship-building, communication, data visualization, and presentation skills.
• US work authorization and willingness to travel 90–100% for onsite deployments are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ROS or similar robotic operating systems.
• Understanding of hardware and software in complex robotic systems.
• Basic networking knowledge, including WiFi and VPN.
• Experience with deployment programs, project management, JIRA, or AI tools for workflow automation.
