Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, working from the San Francisco or New York office approximately 3 days a week

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year for roles based in San Francisco and New York, plus equity and premium health and wellness benefits.

hirify.global provides a workflow builder for organizing and transforming data from PDFs, emails, spreadsheets, and other sources so teams can automate manual operational work.

What you will do

• Develop new product functionality end to end in consultation with product managers, including technical planning, progress reporting, testing, and customer validation.
• Build the logic behind the steps in hirify.global flows and genericize shared logic.
• Write performant TypeScript and Python code across the stack.
• Work with customer-facing teams and customers to solve unique problems and identify product opportunities.
• Optimize services for scalability, stability, and observability as the customer base and product complexity grow.
• Help define engineering processes and practices for long-term growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience in a team-based, high-uptime, continuously delivered codebase.
• Experience with relational databases, REST APIs, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Professional experience building AI-powered tools or using AI/LLM tools to improve engineering impact.
• Commitment to stable, secure, maintainable engineering work.
• Strong communication skills, self-direction, and willingness to collaborate.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement from the San Francisco or New York office approximately 3 days per week.
