Senior Product Engineer 2 (Fullstack)

Location: New York City, hybrid

Salary: $172,000–$228,000 annual base salary for the Senior II level, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and iterate on a learning management system with seamless UX, adaptive learning, peer-to-peer engagement, gamification, and motivational mechanisms.
• Develop career services that help graduates find jobs and match with clinical partners, including generative AI features for resumes and interview training.
• Design and maintain platforms for instructors, teaching assistants, coaches, and operations teams.
• Build content management technology that supports curriculum creation and scalable educational content updates.
• Develop reliable, accessible data pipelines that enable data-driven decisions across learning, business, and operations.
• Own the full development lifecycle and solve complex product and engineering problems in an early-stage environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with ownership of the complete development lifecycle.
• React and TypeScript experience on the frontend is required.
• Familiarity with Python, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails for backend development.
• Ability to work onsite in New York City as part of a hybrid arrangement.
• Interest in building new products at an early-stage company and learning new technologies.
• Previous experience in a direct-to-consumer startup, especially in EdTech or healthcare, is expected.

Hiring process

• 30-minute recruiter interview.
• 2-hour-45-minute technical round including a live full-stack coding exercise, a live coding challenge, and a technical interview with the hiring manager.
• 1.5-hour onsite interview.
