Senior Accountant (Automotive)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Based at the hirify.global corporate headquarters with a minimum of 4 days per week in the office; occasional travel and in-person company events are required.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

hirify.global is developing electrified, digitally enabled pickup trucks and rugged SUVs, including all-electric and range-extender powertrains.

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Support accurate month-end close, including balance sheet and profit and loss reconciliations.
• Manage the general ledger, journal entries, intra-group transactions, and VW Group consolidation reporting.
• Complete accounting and financial statements for hirify.global Sales LLC from beginning to end.
• Account for capitalized development costs and assets under construction under IAS 16 and IAS 38.
• Support accounts payable, audits, financial analysis, internal controls, process automation, and accounting system migrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the automotive industry or a multinational corporation.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with general ledger management, financial reporting, and intra-group transactions.
• Proficiency with accounting software, including SAP S4/HANA, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
