Salary: $92,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the month-end close process and complete close deliverables accurately and on time.
• Prepare and post GAAP-compliant journal entries and perform monthly account reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and elimination balances across entities.
• Review general ledger coding and correct issues across departments, projects, and entities.
• Partner with FP&A on cost analysis, variance analysis, reporting, and ad hoc requests.
• Support the Controller with internal controls, documentation, audits, special projects, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
• Experience with a general ledger or ERP system such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, discretion, and ability to manage competing priorities.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or active CPA candidacy.
• Experience with Bill.com or a similar accounts payable platform.
• Experience in media, publishing, or entertainment.
