Engineering Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York City, United States — hybrid

Salary: $180,000–$230,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead and grow a diverse engineering team working on product growth initiatives.
• Coach engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback, and career development support.
• Partner with product, design, data, marketing, and business operations to define growth roadmaps, scope, and priorities.
• Drive rapid experimentation, small iterations, and metric-driven learning across the user funnel.
• Improve planning, capacity allocation, prioritization, and execution processes.
• Own growth KPIs while ensuring strong architecture, monitoring, testing, scalability, and delivery quality.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of software engineering management and mentorship experience.
• Experience building and operating product growth funnels with instrumentation, experimentation, and metric-driven iteration.
• Experience collaborating with product, design, and marketing stakeholders.
• Experience delivering and maintaining large, complex projects at scale across multiple release cycles.
• Experience with Java, GCP, or React Native is beneficial but not required.
