Backend Engineer (AI/Semiconductor)

Location: On-site in San Francisco office (Atherton near Palo Alto) or hybrid in New York City office

What you will do

• Own customer deployments across the SF Bay Area, Cupertino, and Santa Clara
• Develop features and integrations specific to customer workflows and port cloud features to on-prem environments
• Manage cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenShift, ensuring health and debugging issues
• Learn about hardware design at a high level

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work on-site in San Francisco or hybrid in New York City
• 5+ years experience in backend engineering, full-stack development, or infrastructure/DevOps
• Fluency in at least one mainstream backend language (Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript) and familiarity with Python or TypeScript
• Experience with Docker, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), and IaC tools
• Familiarity with agent development and RAG
• Willingness to travel mostly within California

Nice to have

• On-prem deployment experience in enterprise or air-gapped environments
• Prior field engineering, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles
• Experience in EDA, semiconductor, or hardware-adjacent software environments
