Manufacturing Process Engineer - Warehouse

Location: Secaucus, New Jersey, United States; onsite warehouse environment

Base salary: $75,750–$101,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead measurement and analysis of end-to-end warehouse processes, including material preparation, receiving, storage, inventory, and shipment preparation.
• Design and support manufacturing process changes and develop standard operating procedures to improve operator efficiency and process consistency.
• Collect and analyze cycle time, storage efficiency, yield, and other performance metrics to drive process and quality improvements.
• Participate in Kaizen events and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to optimize warehouse layouts.
• Lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with contractors and vendors in a technical, multi-organizational environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or an advanced degree with equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.
• Proficiency applying Lean or Six Sigma principles.
• Strong analytical, data-mining, communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
• Ability to facilitate projects and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
