Manufacturing Lean Manager (Lean Manufacturing)

Location: Rochester, New York, USA; onsite manufacturing facility role

Salary: USD 110,000–135,000 yearly

What you will do

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 2–4 Engineers and/or Technicians.
• Develop, implement, troubleshoot, and document manufacturing methods, processes, tooling, fixtures, and production equipment.
• Provide manufacturing engineering support for current products, engineering documentation, bills of materials, process instructions, audits, and supplier quality issues.
• Support new product introduction, manufacturing readiness, technology investigations, capital requests, and cost estimates.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams on root cause analysis and operational improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field; equivalent associate degree and experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of industrial experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment with significant technical responsibility, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent Continuous Improvement certification.
• Experience leading process improvement projects with measurable productivity, quality, delivery, inventory, or cost results.
• Previous experience leading or supervising Manufacturing Engineers, Engineering Technicians, or other technical personnel.
• Strong understanding of Lean tools and practical manufacturing problem-solving methods.
