Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and coach continuous improvement initiatives across the facility value stream using the hirify.global Manufacturing System.
• Apply Lean tools including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, line and cell design, single-piece flow, material flow, visual management, SMED, and TPM.
• Develop, document, and implement standard work to support sustainable improvement.
• Coach facility team members and peers in Lean principles, problem solving, and continuous improvement methods.
• Implement corporate standards, facility strategic initiatives, and solutions for complex process issues.
• Share best practices and external benchmarks across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of continuous improvement or Lean engineering experience.
• Experience implementing Lean principles and improving operational processes.
• Experience with flow principles, Kanban, and plan for every part.
• Ability to lead projects involving teams with diverse skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate objects, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds; occasional travel is required.

Nice to have

• Lean, Operations, or Supply Chain certification.
