Chief of Staff (AI)

Location: San Francisco office in Dogpatch, five days per week

Salary: $180K–$220K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Run the operating cadence, including board preparation, executive staff meetings, planning, and KPI reviews.
• Partner with the CEO on internal and external communications, including all-hands meetings, company emails, interviews, talks, and speeches.
• Own high-priority cross-functional projects that lack a clear owner or require stronger execution.
• Design and manage the support engine around the CEO, unblocking issues and keeping critical work moving.
• Carry the CEO’s thinking into internal and external conversations and help maintain clarity across the company.

Requirements

• 3+ years of strategic business experience in a high-growth startup, consulting, finance, operating role, or a similar demanding environment.
• Exceptional organization, follow-through, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently in high-uncertainty situations without a playbook or close oversight.
• AI fluency, active use of AI to increase leverage, and genuine enthusiasm for AI.
• Strong commitment to hirify.global’s mission and a genuine passion and curiosity for science.
• Willingness to work onsite in the San Francisco office five days per week and commit approximately 18 months to the role.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or another scientific field.
• Prior founder experience or early-stage operating experience at an AI company.
• Experience working inside a company that scaled rapidly.
