Chief of Staff to the CEO (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, US; fully virtual with periodic in-person retreats.

Salary: $180,000–$215,000 annual base compensation, plus a target performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the CEO on company strategy, organizational priorities, and executive decision-making.
• Develop strategic analyses, decision frameworks, executive briefings, Board materials, and recommendations for enterprise priorities, partnerships, market opportunities, product strategy, and major investments.
• Own and improve the executive operating cadence, including leadership meetings, quarterly planning, business reviews, initiative tracking, and data-driven reporting.
• Apply AI and emerging technologies to streamline planning, reporting, meeting preparation, follow-up, and knowledge management.
• Lead or support cross-functional enterprise initiatives across Clinical, Commercial, Product, Finance, Operations, People, and Marketing.
• Coordinate executive communications, Board operations, investor updates, fundraising activities, and engagement with strategic partners and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of total experience, ideally combining consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, operations, or Chief of Staff experience.
• Track record of leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives from concept through execution.
• Experience supporting executive leadership teams and preparing Board-level materials.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, business judgment, structured problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and program management skills.
• High emotional intelligence, discretion, sound judgment, strong follow-through, and the ability to build trust quickly in ambiguous environments.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, digital health, behavioral health, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup or scaling organization, ideally Series B through D.
• Experience applying AI and emerging technologies to improve organizational effectiveness.
• MBA or another advanced degree.
