Chief of Staff (Automotive)

Location: On-site at the New York City HQ; must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City

Salary: $170K–$200K base plus meaningful equity

What you will do

• Extend the CEO and leadership team's capacity by solving ambiguous, high-priority problems and managing competing priorities.
• Lead cross-functional strategic projects from initial framing through execution.
• Drive marketing and GTM execution, including case studies, partnership announcements, pipeline tactics, and agency coordination.
• Build dashboards for performance, account health, and operational KPIs.
• Support enterprise accounts at the QBR and renewal level and help develop solutions for complex client challenges.
• Identify operational gaps, build scalable processes, and support hiring and team growth.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a demanding startup operating role.
• Track record of solving unfamiliar problems and delivering them through to completion.
• Ability to build systems and processes rather than one-off deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on use of AI, AI agents, and systems thinking to improve work processes.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive, fintech, insurance, healthcare, or another regulated or operationally complex industry.
• Experience supporting key client or partner relationships.
• Experience in an early-stage or high-growth startup.
• Comfort operating with minimal oversight in a fast-moving environment.
