Chief of Staff (Healthcare)

Location: New York City; hybrid. The hiring process includes an onsite interview at the SoHo office.

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 base salary annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Act as a trusted advisor and operating partner to the co-founders, maintaining visibility into company initiatives, risks, tradeoffs, and organizational health.
• Run the company’s operating rhythm, including planning cadences, Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, leadership agendas, and follow-up actions.
• Translate leadership decisions into clear communications for full-time and contractor teams, and maintain accurate company-wide KPI systems with Finance.
• Prepare board materials and investor updates, including the underlying business analysis.
• Lead high-impact cross-functional projects from problem definition through execution across Learning & Operations, Growth, Product, and Sales/Workforce Solutions.
• Support external and partner relationships and help deliver company-wide events that strengthen culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in consulting, business operations, or a similar role at a high-growth startup.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure ambiguous problems and work directly with data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior and external audiences.
• Ability to lead through influence and coordinate stakeholders across functions and levels.
• Sound judgment, discretion with confidential information, initiative, and a high standard for execution.
• Commitment to expanding accessible pathways to healthcare careers.

Hiring process

• Recruiter screening call.
• Introductory call with the current Chief of Staff, followed by a take-home assignment and presentation.
• Onsite interview at the SoHo, New York City office.
